What happens at a survey.
We look at the rooms
Size, aspect, glazing, insulation and what the room is actually used for. A south-facing bedroom under a warm roof and a north-facing study need different sizing, and getting that wrong is what makes a system noisy and expensive to run.
We look at the route
Where the outdoor unit can sit, how the pipework gets there, where the condensate drains to and whether the consumer unit has a spare way. This is the part that decides the price.
You get it in writing
One price covering everything discussed, sent afterwards rather than produced on the doorstep. Nothing to sign on the day, and no follow-up call pressing you.
